Born in France in 1969, Stéphanie Malossane studied Applied Arts at Dupérre College in Paris and at Central Saint Martins in London.
Since the beginnnings, her work have been focused on the theme of memory and time superposition.
Based in London since the 1990s, her influence on the London stage has been recognized by the British Design Council. Thanks to her unique textile panels and her « Prints » mixing dyeing, serigraphy and historical photographic techniques she has received internationally renowned commissions.
The year 2000 marked a turning point in her artistic career as she presented her first series of canvases mixing oil, cyanotype and browntype that she continues to develop to this day .
Based in Brittany since 2008, her first series of limited-edition digital photographs named « Sea Blur » was launched in 2011 as well as her series of "Moons", round format canvases visible at night thanks to their phosphorescence.
The exhibition « Flou quantique » held in 2013 was characterized by a new presentation of her works, combining installation, video, small sculptures and painting on the theme of time superposition, recurrent in her work.
The series « Voiles » (photographic printing on paper and on veil), realized in 2014, will be presented for the first time in a large format during the exhibition « Dans la vague du temps suspendu » starting in April 2015 at Art&Plus gallery.
